Talking about the Law of Attraction is one thing. Learning how to operate and function consciously with the Law of Attraction in mind is another. There are many tools and techniques that both conscious and unconscious Law of Attraction practitioners do that help to positively activate it in their lives for the good. However, most of us conversely activate the dual component of the Law of Attraction almost instantly and we don’t even realize that it is virtually nullifying the very thing that we desire and delivering more of what we’re trying to avoid. The law that considers this effect is the Law of Resistance.
This law is simply another way of looking at the Law of Attraction in action. The Law of Resistance takes into account pushing against something. An example of a statement that points to this law is, “I’m fighting against the war on terror.” Another example is, “I am anti-abortion.” Most often though, the Law of Resistance is activated simultaneously with the Law of Attraction when we use contractions like ‘don’t', ‘won’t', ‘can’t', ‘shouldn’t', or ‘wouldn’t.’ What usually follows the contraction is the subject of our resistance. If you’re so intently focusing on being against poverty, by making statements like, “I can’t beat the system.” The system is the focus of your resistance, and the Law of Attraction doesn’t respond to the “can’t” part…only the emotions connected to the subject of your resistance (the system). Constantly focusing on the system and what hindrances you experience because of it, make it persist longer in your life.
Most of us do this unconsciously. We focus so much on what we don’t want and what we don’t like, that we never really take the time to concentrate long and often enough on what we do want and do like. This is where perception plays a large role in the outcomes that people have. We notice cases everyday where a person’s attitude dictates the rest of their life. If they operate with a negative disposition most often, they are presented with more negative situations and circumstances. The same is true for someone who notices or cares to recognize the positive in all situations and the desired outcomes. They seem to have more “blessings” and lucky breaks. Self-perception plays a major role in all of this. When you feel empowered, you’re more likely to have a loftier stance. When you feel disempowered, many people begin to identify and wear “helplessness” and blame as a badge of honor. Those who change, do so consciously and with faith.
Michael Losier, in his book The Law of Attraction, gives a very useful tool for changing your perception around statements that activate the Law of Resistance. He says to make two columns: one that lists everything that you don’t like or don’t want. The other column is where you would write a statement that reframes the resistance-filled statement with a statement that contains your actual desire. For example, the left column would contain a statement like this: “I don’t want to have to keep worrying about my bills.” The right column would read: “I am financially free. I always have more than enough to live with and give.”
Understanding that the Law of Resistance will rear its head almost instantly when working with the Law of Attraction can help people pinpoint the very thoughts that are activating this law and causing what they want to take longer to manifest. It takes willingness and belief to make thinking like this a habit. It’s a life-long commitment to positive perception, having the understanding that the negative helps to maintain balance and provide contrast.

The Law of Attraction and Its Counterpart – The Law of Resistance
Law Enforcement Articles – Characteristics of a Good Interviewer
Interviewing is hard work, certainly harder than not making the effort. I have observed a multitude of good (and some great) interviewers and they share some common characteristics, as follows:
INQUISITIVE – Simply put, most good interviewers want to know what’s going on, have their suspicions raised easily and are nosy.
OBSERVANT – Successful interviewing means thinking on your feet, while observing your surroundings and constantly observing the subject being interviewed.
o Not a job for those people who go through life half-awake.
ENERGETIC - No one makes interviewers put forth the effort to get that confession, it’s something that comes from within.
o You either have the desire or you don’t.
ABILITY – Good interviewers can talk with people and put them at ease, while eliciting useful information.
o There’s a fine line here between being an officious “John (or Jane) Wayne” and a complete B.S. artist.
PROBLEM SOLVERS – Interviewers must look at the big picture to succeed in obtaining incriminating admissions from a suspect.
I once saw an investigator lose a rape confession because he wanted the suspect to first admit stealing the car that he used to commit the rape!
o The suspect was willing to admit doing the rape, but didn’t want to admit stealing the car.
o The investigator doggedly continued questioning the suspect about the car until the interview ended with no admissions at all.
o When I was asked to help with the interview, I just skipped the whole car issue and secured the rape confession.
o We later discovered that the suspect had been reluctant to admit stealing the car because it belonged to one of his family members.
Lesson: what’s most important to you, the interviewer, is not necessarily what’s most important to the interviewee.
PATIENT -Police often damage the memory retrieval process by:
o hurrying witnesses
o interrupting people when they are talking
o using inappropriate sequencing of questions
o stopping the statement process too soon.
The most common question I’m asked by students is this:
“Can anyone learn to be an effective interviewer or is it an in-born skill?”
Here’s an analogy which may help explain the answer. Think of interviewing like playing the piano. Some children are born with a gift for playing the piano. With diligent practice, they become master concert pianists. Others have very little natural ability, but are also diligent in their training. After years of practice they become adept at playing and become “practitioners” of the piano. The common denominator is: PRACTICE.
Without diligent practice, no one (irrespective of natural ability) will ever play the piano. Interviewing is like playing the piano in that there are some people who are natural communicators and some who are not so blessed. However, if each person practices, both types will become effective interviewers. A good interviewer should understand basic human behavior, should be intelligent, friendly, patient and persistent.
Remember: Good officers do not necessarily make good interviewers.

The Law Of Gestation – Law Of Attraction
What is the law of gestation? Is it another hype up term used by motivational guru to sell their course or just another scientific phenomenon?
The law of gestation is a natural process of the universe. There is a time for everything and a season for every changes under the sun. A baby takes 9 months to come to full term. A fertilized chicken egg takes about 21 days to hatch. Diamonds take ages to form and so on. Try to short cut this process and you’ll get a premature / dead baby or inferior product.
A farmer needs to wait and know the right timing to harvest if he wants a bountiful harvest with quality produce. A pilot needs to wait for clearance from the control tower before he can make a safe and successful landing. I can go on forever, but i think you know what i mean. Timing is crucial in every activity we perform daily. Do it in the wrong timing and you ruin your everything you have created earlier.
The law of gestation is an important element to observe and practice in relation to the law of attraction. Do not expect to reap your result overnight or shortcut the process. Doing so may mean faster return but the result is always compromised. Acquiring wealth also requires a gestation period. The timing is dependent on our skill and knowledge level, awareness, desire, focus and most of all, our faith. Get ready our drenches when we ask God for rain. Faith without action is dead. We must act on our belief. There is no need rush and there shouldn’t be any unnecessary delay either. Be patient, persistent and constantly upgrade ourselves. Compliment the law of gestation and the law will return you with the desires of your heart.
