I'm assuming you seek to study international human rights law at a law school. There are also several good international human rights programs.

Most law schools have at least one course in IHRL, and it is possible to have independent research projects as well. Ask the law school's recruiter for information about the courses available, and if you can talk to a professor who teaches courses that interest you.

When investigating law schools, pay attention to the research institutes and numbers of faculty involved in your area of interest. Graduate programs in your subject areas are very important, even if you do not want a grad degree, because these attract the top scholars/lawyers.

It may also help you to look at Canadian law journals to identify legal scholars working in your area of interest. Find out where they work, and apply to study there.

Be aware that it can be difficult to find work in this area of law because of a scarcity of opportunities and many highly qualified graduates. This means organizations now tend to require graduate degrees, proficiency in multiple languages, and interest demonstrated by volunteer work/internships.
