I love poetry and as an editor, I critique a lot of it. I glanced at yours and decided I didn't really have time to do this much, this long, but I read a couple of lines of "Unrequited Love", and I was instantly hooked. So then I lost myself in 'Man of Mist". And of course I had to read "Sublime". And then I decided supper could wait!

First, let me say I've rarely read anything that needed a helping hand less than these poems. They are gems, all three. So my only suggestion is at the end of "Man of Mist", there seems to be a line missing. You say. "Opalescent petals gently descended upon the soft earth, as though peace had just"...just what??

And your general goal seems to be rhyming verse, but some lines in "Sublime" do not rhyme, and that caused me to feel a sort of stumbling as I read the poem. Perhaps you intended this?

Except for these small things, I find nothing amiss and nothing to suggest. I did find myself myself wondering if you are published? You do seem to be at that level. Best of luck to you. And I hope you will let me know when/where I can buy your published work to add to my collection.

In this case it is like the chicken and the egg. He was likely imagining her in a particular way because she was his soulmate and he was ready to meet her. I met my wife online in an equally mysterious way.

The Law of Attraction can do a bunch of stuff but one thing it teaches us not to dictate the universe the exact shape in which we ae willing to receive our wish. When we do, we get disillusioned. It is awesome to consider your ideal mate, but more on the level of feeling, how would you feel when you met her, and such. Just be prepared that her personality will fit nicely but don't get attached to a physical description. When you do that, you limit your options and stop your dream from coming true. When you meet your soulmate, other concerns become irrelevant, you are drawn to the person whether or not they meet your previous expectations. Your soulmate becomes your type.

I am a believer in LoA, it does work, but not necessarily how some teachers want it too. They get what they want out of luck or good Karma, by chance, not because their understanding is valid. What you describe about the guy sounds to me like a pure coincidence, but of course others might have different experiences.
