Violence – The Basic Human Instinct

August 13th, 2010

“A leading Pakistani human rights can help save the lives of 17 Indians who died in March were sentenced for the killing of a Pakistani national in Sharjah

I saw this new article in the newspaper today. The only thing I noticed is that it is above all a Pakistani national, in order to save the life of the Indians attempted. In these days of extreme hatred is virtually unchecked between the two neighboring countries – India and Pakistan – the new gave me a good feeling. Compassion is a fixed asset is not. Compassion crosses all social, economic, racial, religious and national. This is an example – one of the human rights activists trying to save the lives of 17 countries belonging to mortal enemies of his nation. My thanks also go right to the Sharia law in this particular case, that one last chance to survive on the sentencing of convicted after trial to. The law gives a total power of the injured person to forgive the perpetrators of this heinous crime and forgiveness is total – the prisoner out of jail just walk to the free world without suffering a reduced rate. Well, assassinated Pakistani activist organization U.S. $ 54,000 / – as compensation to the family in Pakistan, the person. This compensation is like Blood Money ‘reputation in the local language of people who are aware of the Sharia. Ansar Burney, the man who paid the “blood money” is always exceed the number of national and international legal obstacles, the paper said. But it seems that he have success in his mission because there is such a priority. Congratulations to Lion-heart activist.

I wonder if the violence is not one of the basic instinct of man. Only man among all living beings engaged in violence and murder to no avail. All appeals of other species in violence whatsoever for protecting himself or his prey. I will not go into the anthropological or scientific reasons. On the other hand, I’m still analyzing the nature of the human spirit. I feel fear is the driving force of greed, envy and jealousy at the root of all violence is inappropriate. And what about sanctions in the framework of a national criminal code criminal? The penalty for a crime is still legalized in the form of revenge or a form of violence. Is not violence death penalty?

Chimpanzees – Towards Human and Associated Protections

August 13th, 2010

As a scientist, data gathering chimpanzees closer to humans. They are sensitive to communicate conscious beings with strong cognitive skills and a proven ability to reason, adapt to express emotions, and even to manipulate and deceive. identical with the genetic material of 98.5% with that of humans, chimpanzees are closer to humans than to gorillas. Therefore, there are serious ethical implications in terms of captive chimpanzees and their use in laboratory experiments. Below is a careful examination of the chimpanzee:

Chimpanzees live in regions consisting of 21 African countries, grasslands, savannas and dry tropical forests belong. They often live in communities ranging from 20 to 100 members. Two species of chimpanzees available – the common chimpanzee (the four sub-species) and the bonobo (also known as the chimp “pygmies” is known) on the former diet of fruit and meat to feed the latter only on fruit. Their average lifespan is between 40-50 years. Chimpanzees are currently listed as endangered, mainly because of deforestation and poaching.

I. Brain size / structure / Nervous System:

The chimps have a brain and nervous system similar to that of a man. They learn quickly, have the ability to produce creative responses, expressing feelings (through sounds, gestures and facial expressions), the influence of their surroundings, and share the same qualitative experience of pain in spite of a cerebral cortex, which is about one third the size that in humans.

The chimpanzee brain weighs an average of 437 g to 1.3 kg for the average man. When comparing the size of the brain to body size – the encephalization quotient (EQ), records an average of 2.49 brain of the chimpanzee (third in 7.44 and 5.31 of the average EQ humans and dolphins, rhesus monkeys in fourth place with 2.09). This indicates a high level of cognitive ability.

Humans and chimpanzees are involved in sleep. This includes the phases of the Rapid Eye Movement (REM) sleep and shows the two are likely to dream in the situation.

II Social Context:

Chimpanzees are extremely social, show compatible with humans, other apes, dolphins and other creatures with a high degree of intelligence.

They spend equal time on land and in the trees (where they build nests to sleep, although some chimps in the savannas in southern Senegal Fongoli spend much time in caves) and move from one area to forage. Even if a typical community can count to 100, the chimpanzees often spend time in small parties, mothers and their dependent children, but refuse to separate. Each family of chimpanzees (in which people have strong bonds) is of an alpha male or alpha (led bonobos, but are run by women) that leads to hunting, territorial protection, and war. Each community is hierarchical in nature, to win respect in which the strength and intelligence received. Women have sex only move freely between communities.

Natural Human Self-Defense – The 4 Emotional Self-Defense Modes

August 13th, 2010

If you look around all martial arts schools and programs for self-defense, which are offered, one can conclude that everything that you need to do to effectively have to defend against a Crazy Crazy, is trying to kill to come is a few steps - learn some tips and techniques – and voila – you are a master!.

After all, if that’s what everyone does, it must be right. Right?

Why then, if so …

* … D Black Belts (and below) is beaten by thugs, street fighters, and other, less “serious”?
* … So many people admit (publicly or itself) expressed doubts about the ability to act even when controlling for self-defense training?
* … The street fighters, special forces, experts and real look at what is usually in the schools of martial arts and self defense classes with contempt and disdain taught?

Perhaps it has something to do with a gnawing feeling deep inside that something is missing – that something is wrong. Perhaps he has with the fact that the real experts – people who have really “there” in combat situations in the real world, those who really know what works and what can not work under pressure – when your life on the line. But anyway, if we start from the novice with a “gut feeling” or an expert who knows to speak, there remains the fact that something is missing from the traditional training programs.

But what could it be?

Natural defense mechanism – the missing element

Element is probably the least known, and this is lacking almost everywhere in most programs for self-defense, the reality of the natural emotional reaction that takes place during a stress attack. How is it that people who are moving creatures on the face of the planet is not to overlook a very important aspect in the process of teaching and learning self-defense?
